How do I set up my collection schedule?
Just open the app and it will walk you through the process. If you run into any issues, reset the app from the Settings tab inside the app and start over.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Make sure notifications are enabled for When is Trash Day? in your device’s Settings › Notifications. If you recently updated iOS, you may need to re-grant notification permissions.
How do I change a collection day?
Tap the Edit button at the top of the dashboard to change collection days information. To remove your schedule entirely, use the Settings tab and tap “Reset All Data” to clear everything.
Will the app work without an internet connection?
Absolutely. When is Trash Day? works entirely offline. Your schedule and reminders are stored on your device and don’t require a network connection.
How do I reset all my data?
Go to the app’s settings and tap “Reset All Data.” This will clear your schedule and preferences. You can also uninstall the app to remove everything.
Is my data backed up or synced?
Your data stays on your device and is not synced to the cloud. If your device is backed up via iCloud or iTunes, your app data may be included in that backup depending on your device settings.
