By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and When Is Trash Day (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the When is Trash Day? mobile application (“App”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or otherwise using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of the App

When is Trash Day? is a paid iOS utility application that helps you track waste and recycling collection schedules. The App provides customizable reminders, schedule management, and visual pickup tracking — all designed to ensure you never miss a collection day.

3. Purchase & Payment

The App is available for purchase through the Apple App Store. All payments are processed by Apple in accordance with Apple’s terms and conditions. We do not directly collect or process any payment information. Refund requests are subject to Apple’s refund policies.

4. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not allow you to use the App on any device you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App or any part thereof.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer rights to the App.
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App.
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Data & Privacy

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by When Is Trash Day and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the App beyond the limited license set forth in Section 4.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You are responsible for entering and maintaining your own collection schedules. We do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of any schedule data you input, nor do we guarantee that notifications will be delivered at the exact time configured.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, When Is Trash Day shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the App. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the App.

10. Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple’s terms and policies. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Any claims relating to the App shall be directed to us, not to Apple.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license to use the App at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which When Is Trash Day operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
